DEHA 2025 OBSTACLE CLINIC & CHALLENGE

Please join us as we challenge our horses and ourselves over obstacles under a canopy of stately oak trees on beautiful Mt. Diablo. This event will be held in historic Cardinet Oaks located on the Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association's property. Obstacles will be made primarily from natural materials against a backdrop of lovely views. Clinic and Challenge tickets are sold separately.

Clinic 10/18 AM

** CLINIC - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18TH AM

Rene Turnbull (Head Clinician)

This clinic will focus on developing and or enhancing skills that will help you successfully complete in the obstacle challenges. Riders will be in groups of 3 to 4 and will negotiate 8 coached obstacles. We will be using a "shot-gun" start to get as many folks started on the obstacles.

Anticipated Event Schedule: 8:00 am– Registration Opens (follow signs to registration)

9:00 am – All riders leave registration area for Cardinet Oaks

10:00 am– Rider's meeting

10:30 am- Rider groups on course

12:00 pm– Registration Opens (follow signs to registration)

1:00 pm – Riders leave registration area for Cardinet Oaks

1:30 pm– Rider's meeting

2:00 pm- First rider on course

RELEASE OF LIABILITY..

Each participant and attendee must sign liability release forms for the following entities:

  1. DEHA (Diablo Equestrian Heritage Association)

  2. CMDTRA (Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association)

Parents/guardians must sign on behalf of children under 18-years-old. Please download and bring signed copies for faster check-in. Additional copies will be available at the registration table.
