DEHA 2025 OBSTACLE CLINIC & CHALLENGE
Please join us as we challenge our horses and ourselves over obstacles under a canopy of stately oak trees on beautiful Mt. Diablo. This event will be held in historic Cardinet Oaks located on the Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association's property. Obstacles will be made primarily from natural materials against a backdrop of lovely views. Clinic and Challenge tickets are sold separately.
Camping is also available on Friday and Saturday nights for an additional fee. Hosted by the Concord Mt. Diablo Trail Ride Association.
Online registration only - Registration closes the Thursday before the event, 6 PM or when 35 riders have registered
Clinic 10/18
** CLINIC - SATURDAY, OCTOBER 18TH
Rene Turnbull (Head Clinician)
This clinic will focus on developing and or enhancing skills that will help you successfully complete in the obstacle challenges. Riders will be in groups of 4 to 5 and will negotiate 8 coached obstacles. We will be using a "shot-gun" start to get as many folks started on the obstacles.
Anticipated Event Schedule: 7:30 am– Registration Opens (follow signs to registration)
8:30 am – All riders leave registration area for Cardinet Oaks
9:30 am– Rider's meeting
10:30 am- Rider groups on course While waiting, riders can have lunch, do a short ride or just hang out.
Challenge 10/19
** CHALLENGE - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19

7:30 am– Registration Opens (follow signs to registration)
8:00 am - Judges leave to walk the course
8:30 am – Advanced and Intermediate riders leave registration area for Cardinet Oaks
9:30 am– Rider's meeting 10:30 am
11:00 - First rider on course
12:00 - Lunch break
12:30 - All remaining riders head up to course
1:00 - Rider's meeting
1:45 - Riders on course
Online registrations only. Registration closes Thursday, October 16 at 6 PM. Sorry, no day-of registrations. We will be limiting the Challenge to 35 riders (first-come-first serve).

Each participant and attendee must sign liability release forms for the following entities:
Parents/guardians must sign on behalf of children under 18-years-old. Please download and bring signed copies for faster check-in. Additional copies will be available at the registration table.
